WHY PARTICIPATE IN THE GIVING TREE?
Participation supports the Pro-Life cause in our parish and in our Diocese.
WHAT IS THE GIVING TREE?
The Giving Tree provides baby supplies needed for women experiencing crisis pregnancies in the Diocese of Allentown. Baby supplies (such as diapers, wipes, clothing, gift cards for items such as cribs and car seats) are collected and delivered to Catholic Charities in early January for distribution to those in need.
HOW IT WORKS
A Christmas tree with gift tags for the requested items is set up in the church by the first Sunday of Advent (4 weeks before Christmas).
Parishioners take a tag, purchase the item, then place the unwrapped item near the tree.
Parish volunteers sort, box, and deliver the items to Catholic Charities in January.
